Pursuit With Motorcycle Ends in Hospital

WOI reports a motorcycle pursuit that lands the driver and passenger in hospital.

Motorcycle Crash

Last Thursday evening, a pursuit on I-235 ended with a crash on Euclid Ave.  The lead motorcycle was going about 40 miles over the speed limit  and tried to get away, but instead landed both himself and his passenger in the hospital after he clipped the side of a car then lost control of the bike.

It all started when a trooper clocked one of two motorcycles driving together at 95 miles per hour.  He initiated a traffic stop.  The motorcycles sped off, exited on Guthrie Ave., turned onto Delaware Ave., then took a right onto Euclid.  It passed over I-235, and that’s when one crashed.

The 37-year-old male driver and 22-year-old female passenger were both taken to the hospital with non–life threatening injuries. It was discovered that the driver didn’t have a valid driver’s license or a motorcycle permit and because of that, he’s facing both criminal and traffic charges.
