Learn How to Ride a Motorcycle in Minnesota

Minnesota Motorcycle Riding Schools
In Minnesota, you are not allowed to ride a motorcycle without a motorcycle endorsement or license. To get a license you can either apply at your local DMV office or pass all the necessary documents and test, or you can enroll at motorcycle riding schools approved by the Motorcycle safety Foundation. After you learn how to ride a motorcycle, you will be given a completion card that will waive your on-cycle and written test. You will then get a motorcycle endorsement. According to their official website, Faribault Harley has graduated more than 1000 students since 2002 through their Rider’s Edge. They offer both New Rider Course and Skilled Rider Course for novice and expert riders. Courses are taught at Faribault Harley-Davidson by Motorcycle Safety Foundation certified and state licensed instructors. The Department of Public Safety in Minnesota offers motorcycle rider training courses.  These courses are offered at 29 Minnesota State College and Universities campuses from mid-April through the first weekend in October. The Rider Academy in Minnesota is a trusted motorcycle education provider since 2006. They offer Basic Rider Course, Experienced Rider Course, Advanced Rider Clinic and private lessons to all levels of riders. Each class consists of 6-8 riders only for real individual coaching. The St. Paul Harley-Davidson offers motorcycle education to new and experienced riders through rider’s Edge; the Harley-Davidson Academy of Motorcycling. All courses are approved by the Motorcycle safety Foundation and taught by MSF certified instructors or Rider coaches.
