The Barton Community College offers Motorcycle Safety foundation’s Beginner and Experienced courses. Upon completion of the course, students will receive a completion card from MSF which could decrease your motorcycle insurance by 10%. They will also receive a Kansas waiver form to obtain a motorcycle license. The Cowley County Community College offers Motorcycle Training Educational Program that provides motorcycle rider education using the curriculum developed by the Motorcycle safety Foundation (MSF). The courses they offered include Basic Rider Course, Experienced Rider Course and Additional Rider Course which are taught by MSF certified RiderCoaches. The Kansas State Department of Education and the college provide this service to Hutchinson and the surrounding areas. They follow the curriculum approved by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation. If you want to learn how to ride a motorcycle, the Johnson County Community College offers motorcycle training courses in Overland Park, Kansas. This motorcycle training course will prepare new riders to properly and safely handle a motorcycle. All courses are offered from March through October. Kansas Community College offers motorcycle training courses under their Continuing Education Program. They offer the Basic Rider Course, Basic Rider Course 2 and Advanced Rider Course (ARC). The BRC is for new riders who want to learn how to ride a motorcycle while the BRC2 is for seasoned rider who wants to hone their skills and the ARC is a one day course that complements a rider’s basic skills and helps with the personal risk assessment.
