Kentucky Motorcycle License
Basic Requirements for the License
Applicants of motorcycle permit must be at least 18 years of age or must have a valid operator’s license. On the other hand, applicants who are under 18 years old must have a parent or guardian who will be willing to assume responsibility and sign the application for license. Requirements for moped license:- Applicants must be at least 16 years old and have already a driver’s permit.
- Applicants below 18 years old must have a parent or legal guardian.
- Applicants who do not have a driver license must complete the driver license and application; pass the general knowledge and vision test.
Note: If you successfully completed all the requirements, then you will be given a moped license.
In order to get a motorcycle driver’s license or permit, applicants must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license. A parent or a guardian is important for applicants who are under 18 years old. Also, you have to pay the motorcycle driver’s license which cost $30 and a motorcycle only license which is $24. - Have your picture taken and give a thumb print.
- Pay the application fee.
- Pass the vision test.
- Pass the written examination.
- No driving on the highway.
- No driving during the evening.
- Do not ride with any passengers.
